Only designated members of the Historic Homes team will be permitted to show your property. DISCRETION

We target discerning buyers of high-end properties, not curious observers. Showings are offered by appointment to only the most qualified buyers. If we deem it necessary, we may ask for financial references in order to qualify potential buyers.Because we accept only a select group of listings, your property will get the specialized attention and care to which it is entitled. Our initial investment of time is typically far greater than that provided by other firms.  You will never be treated as just another listing in a vast inventory of product. The timing and staging of our marketing efforts is coordinated for full impact in an effort to produce a multiple offer situation. Our objective is to find multiple buyers for your home. In doing so, we seek to create competitive bidding thereby maximizing the property’s selling potential.

Founder & President

>Micéal Chamberlain founded Historic Homes in 1989, with the intention that his team’s in-house expertise in residential renovation, restoration and building would make Historic Homes a wholly unique resource for owners and purchasers of exceptional homes and estates. Today, Under Micéal’s direction, Historic Homes’ annual high-end property sales regularly surpass all local competitors on a per-broker basis. A native of County Clare Ireland and a graduate of Babson College with a degree in Marketing and Management, Micéal started his career with the New England Patriots where he served as Marketing/Promotions Director and later as President of the Stadium Company. Prior to founding Historic Homes, he worked with a design/build company specializing in residential restoration and space design. Historic Homes is one of the few independently owned residential real estate companies today. Their success is attributed to strong community roots, discreet, conscientious attention from senior personnel, and a scholarly understanding of the local market in Brookline, Newton, and the greater Boston area.
